Global Pathway Showcases Trinity’s Community and Diversity

On Wednesday 29 March, 215 North Melbourne Primary School students from years 5 and 6 joined ӣƵapp’s student-led Global Pathways event on the Bulpadock.

Alex Horton- Taking Aussie Rules to the Asia-Pacific

Alex Horton (TC 2012) describes winning two premierships in a row and captaining the Trinity footy team alongside his close mates as the ‘peak of his footy career’. However, it is his leadership in introducing Aussie Rules to a small village in South Sulawesi and growing the sport in the region, which is quickly seeing him emerge as a sporting ambassador across the Asia-Pacific.

FS Buddy Program

The Buddy Program assists new Foundation Studies students with an easy transition to living and studying in Melbourne.

New Students and Parents Welcomed at ӣƵapp Orientation

In February, ӣƵapp welcomed 115 new residential students and their parents to campus. The students come from a wide range of backgrounds and locations: overseas (countries such as China, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa), interstate, regional Victoria and from suburbs throughout Melbourne.

Paying It Forward

When ‘Kiera’ Shi Yanhong (TCFS 2014) met mentor Imogen Smith-Waters (TC 2011) at the University of Melbourne’s Student Union (UMSU) Women’s Mentoring Network they had no idea of their Trinity connection. Trinity's Demons

On Saturday 11 February, Trinity’s very own Jessica Anderson put on a stunning performance for the Melbourne Demons, leading her team to victory against Collingwood in the second round of the AFL Women’s (AFLW) competition. She joins a prodigious list of ӣƵapp alumni and family, spanning 117 years, who have played for the Demons in both the VFL and AFL.
