Kerry Gleeson

Kerry Gleeson is an experienced non-executive director who was appointed to the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵapp Board in 2015. She serves as a member of the Finance and Audit Committee and, previously, the Pathways School Business Committee, where she was appointed Chair in 2018.

Kerry is a non-executive director of ASX-listed, St Barbara Limited and New Century Resources Limited. Kerry is a mentor in the Women on Board’s WOBSX program, a director-led peer-to-peer support program, chairing the Melbourne syndicate to assist women to achieve ASX board roles, and is also a member of ASIC’s Corporate Governance Consultative Panel.

Kerry is a qualified lawyer in both the UK and Australia, and spent 15 years in private practice, including as a partner of an English law firm, before emigrating to Melbourne and joining Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashursts).

She was subsequently appointed as a member of the group executive at Incitec Pivot Limited as general counsel and company secretary for almost a decade. During that time, she was also head of corporate affairs, chief diversity officer and chief values officer. Kerry is also a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Kerry is the first woman to serve as Chair of the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵapp Board, and thanks outgoing Chair, Charles Sitch, for paving the way when it comes to gender equality. Charles has been a strong advocate for women in leadership, and helped lead Trinity to a position where around 50 per cent of our board and committee members are women. He also played an integral role in helping bring the Trinity experience to students from disadvantaged backgrounds through scholarships.

‘This is an institution that knows its value and knows its potential, and I’m very excited to be a part of this journey,’ says Kerry. ‘I plan to greet my time as Chair boldly and with determination, because fortitude and courage is what Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵapp deserves.’

We thank Charles for his leadership as Chair over the past four years, and look forward to working with Kerry as we continue to deliver an exceptional living and learning experience to students of great promise.
