The reunion included a tour of the Gateway building and also some Trinity trivia, to test the knowledge of alumni and staff.

Vivian Chan (TCFS 1996), Careers and Alumni Coordinator, reflected on how far the College has come since the days of the portables over 20 years ago, to the current state-of-the-art Gateway building.

Glen Jennings, Deputy Dean of the FS Program, thanked the teachers and administrators, past and present, for their dedication to the ideals of the program and to the welfare of the students.

He emphasised continuity and steady growth as critical to why the FS Program has continued to be so successful over the past 25 years.

Glen also paid tribute to the FS students and alumni of the College for what they have collectively achieved.

‘Whether you are a pregnant TCFS teacher at a women's hospital, whether you are taking your child to the Children's Hospital, whether you need an architect, or a real-estate agent, or a reliable business connection (or if you get into trouble and need a lawyer - hopefully not!) there is a TCFS graduate who is now working in that profession or field and you know that you will have someone you can trust and rely upon,’ said Glen.

Eileen Goh (TCFS 1996), who is a member of the 11 alumni TCFS committee, spoke about the FS program’s role in assisting with her career journey, which eventually led to her being appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at VincentCare Victoria.

Diana Smith, former FS Director, was delighted to be invited back to the College to meet with former students and staff and loved the intimacy of the Gateway building commenting it was one of the ‘best buildings I have seen.’

The event was equally popular among alumni with Myra Stirling (TCFS 1996), Senior Associate Herbert Smith Freehills, commenting, ‘It was great to see Glen, Diana, Denis, Rosemary and many other staff,’ and of course, catching up with fellow Trinitarians.
